Choose Student for eligible academic work involving up to two projects. Researcher supports professional teams with unlimited projects and annual per-seat billing. Institution / Enterprise supports organization-wide needs with a tailored agreement, more storage and enterprise support. Core study and authoring workflows are shared across the plans.

One seat is one researcher account. Researcher is $4,788 per seat per year, equivalent to $399 per seat per month, billed annually. A three-seat team pays $14,364 per year for the subscription, before usage, add-ons and any implementation services. Participant records are distinct from researcher seats.

Aims offers a 14-day trial, and a credit card is required. Review the selected plan, enabled features and any usage charges during registration. At the end of the trial, billing starts automatically under the subscription terms shown at checkout unless you cancel before the trial ends. Researcher is billed annually; Student is billed monthly.

The Student plan is intended for eligible students and academic researchers. Academic status must be verified; a .edu email address alone is not sufficient. Ask Aims for the approved verification process. Student includes two projects, 100 GB of storage and 10 GB of monthly data egress.

The tools and their usage are priced separately. Outbound SMS is $0.05 per message. Conversational AI live call time is $0.73 per minute, with a separate one-time design, build and validation fee based on the estimated interview or survey length. Review the usage and setup rates below before budgeting. Ask Aims about any additional channel setup or service charges for your study.

Setup is charged per minute of the survey or interview’s estimated length: $150 for Standard Study, $200 for HIPAA-Compliant Study, or $300 for Clinical-Trial-Grade Study. For example, a 10-minute Standard Study costs $1,500 to prepare. Live calls are billed separately. These are service-tier labels; the selected tier does not itself establish study approval or regulatory compliance.

Storage is the space used to retain files and data. Egress is data transferred out of the platform, such as downloads and exports. Each plan includes storage and a monthly egress allowance. Additional egress is $0.15 per GB; storage add-ons and prepaid egress packs are listed on this page.

Student is billed monthly and may be cancelled at any time. Researcher is an annual commitment: upgrades can be discussed, but downgrades are not permitted during the annual term. The published annual policy provides no refund on cancellation and access continues through the paid term. Enterprise terms follow your agreement. Aims lists major credit cards and ACH bank transfers, processed through Stripe. Available methods and the billing schedule are confirmed at checkout. For institutional purchasing, billing requirements or a custom agreement, contact the Aims team.

Prepare the study protocol, materials, participant journey, team access and communication plan. Email, SMS, voice, incentives, integrations and participant-facing AI may require additional configuration, review or services. Trial access alone does not mean a study is ready to contact participants. Explore implementation.

Aims RMS is HIPAA, SOC 2, and 21 CFR Part 11 compliant. Visit the official Aims Trust Center for supporting documentation and SOC 2 reports. Arrange applicable written agreements before onboarding PHI, and confirm study approvals and configuration with your institution and Aims.

Researcher and Enterprise offer integration options, with implementation depending on the source system, permissions and scope. Bring your SSO, API, EHR, data exchange and branding requirements to the team. Advanced multi-site coordination or IRB administration should be confirmed for your intended deployment before purchase.

Student includes email support. Researcher adds priority email and business-hours phone support. Institution / Enterprise includes priority email and 24/7 phone support. Onboarding assistance is separately scoped; custom training is available under the institutional agreement.

No. Ask RAchel, AI-assisted authoring, request preparation and participant-facing conversational AI serve different purposes. Research teams review generated content and define the approved scope. Participant-facing work requires the appropriate configuration, study materials and human oversight.
